  • Nothing is more important than your mental health. Take a few minutes of every day to meditate, take a walk, or read for pleasure.

  • Take time each day to review your priorities and tasks. Good time management leads to less stress, and better mental health.

  • Surround yourself with people who have a positive attitude, and who make you feel good.

  • Negative self-talk is destructive. If you find yourself overgeneralizing, or thinking in all-or-nothing terms, back off and analyze the situation.

  • Set realistic goals for yourself. Allow yourself room for less-than-perfect performance. You are not alone.

  • If you are concerned about your mental well-being, seek help as soon as you can. Getting help early will keep you on track.
